Axelrod's Prisoner's Dilemma Tournament
This page hosts a simulation of Robert Axelrod's famous tournament on the Prisoner's Dilemma. Below is a collection of strategies. Select the players you want to include in the tournament, set the number of rounds, and see which strategy comes out on top.
Noise (% chance of move flip): This setting introduces randomness to simulate real-world errors or misinterpretations. After a player chooses their move, there is a chance it will be flipped to the opposite move. For example, at 5% noise, a 'Cooperate' can become a 'Defect' 5% of the time. This tests a strategy's robustness against unpredictability.
